Workist is looking for a Head of Sales (m/f/x) to join and lead the growing sales team in Berlin. 

Our sales team drives the entire company forward by bringing our software to new customers. We are a tight-knit, high-energy crew of Business Development Representatives and (Senior) Account Executives. As the Head of Sales, you will lead our sales organization into the next phase of growth (1M+ to 10M+ ARR). We are looking for an experienced leader to make our sales motion repeatable and closings predictable. Reporting directly to the Co-Founder/Managing Director, this position will have a huge impact on the future of our company. 

This is your mission

Responsibilities

  • Develop and scale the team: Hire and continuously develop new and existing sales team members 

  • Make the sales motion repeatable: Build on current success stories and use data and your experience to optimize the sales process and make it repeatable 

  • Sales strategy: Define the vision for the sales team and built the right measures and processes to execute the strategy

  • Creating and selling deals: Support the sales team with daily operations and lead by example by developing and closing (high-profile) deals yourself

  • Jointly build the revenue engine: Collaborate closely with the Growth and Customer Success teams to optimize the revenue engine and drive opportunities through the entire sales funnel

Your profile

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Experience in successfully taking a startup from 1M+ to 10M+ ARR

  • Operational experience in both BDR/SDR and AE roles, selling complex SaaS solutions to mid-market and enterprise customers in a B2B context

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and successfully building and leading a growing team 

  • Ability to hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team 

  • Excellent written and oral communication in German and English
